A little about me:
I go by Mikha.
I have always faced the world book-first. And I mean this in the most multitudinous fashion. Even as a child, I had traded playtime for colourful story books that taught me all about positivity, empathy, and making my case against the bullies in the playground. Growing older, all the confusing aspects of my teenage years had been guided by coming-of-age novels and self-help guides that told me all about the things I was too shy to ask about my body and my self. And now, as a young adult, I have consolidated the idea that books are the springboard for tackling everything about the world that one feels uncertain about.
By having a means to abolish crude assumptions which could lead to extremes such as blind-hatred and hasty generalisations, I believe the world could easily transition into a more nurturing and understanding environment. And this way of life is what I wish to impart into the next generation. Which is why my life-long dream is to be able to find my place in the Creative Industry, which I believe effects direct and genuine change that moves people into action and builds a society that progresses toward the core human values of compassion and excellence.
